Bristech 2020 is a multi-stream tech conference to be held on Thursday 12th November 2020.
A tech conference for polyglot developers and technical professionals.
Due to social distancing restrictions, tech talks will be delivered both online AND from a studio in Bristol.
We aim for quality technical content with a sense of fun (think: tech + popcorn). Typically this means talks are interwoven with music and other content that may be of interest to our audience.
The conference format in previous years has been ~20 speakers across three streams, with a central Expo-style area for sponsors and exhibitors. This year may be a little different as we work out the best online delivery platform.
We have sold out to a capacity crowd (~500 delegates) in three previous years and this year is likely to be no exception. In fact, our audience may go up due to the online nature of the talks.
The conference website is https://2020.bris.tech.
Other Bristech events:
Bristech Conference 2019 is a one day tech conference to be held on Thursday 7th November 2019 at the Watershed, Bristol. The format is ~20 speakers across three cinema rooms, with a central Expo-style area for sponsors and exhibitors.
We have sold out to a capacity crowd (~500 delegates) in three previous years and this year is likely to be no exception.
The audience will primarily consist of polyglot developers and other technical professionals including company founders, domain specialists, tech enthusiasts and students.
The event is shaped by the topics of curated talks which are chosen via this CFP. We purposely avoid a single theme for the event and so speaker topics will range from across the tech spectrum, including programming languages, cloud, web, distributed systems, security, devops, tooling, frameworks, platforms and UI / UX. Increasingly we are also featuring "softer" talks along side the more nuts-and-bolts tech talks.
