Unfortunately, we have had to cancel the conference for 2020 and expect to have a larger conference in 2021; Ruby Conference Africa, tentatively in the second week of July 2021 more details will be shared on our CFP which will be live for submission soon.
In preparation for Ruby Conference Africa, there will be a series of workshops in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda between April 2020 and June 2021. The workshops will be held in the following months:

Ruby Conference Kenya (RubyConfKe) is an annual conference dedicated to Ruby programming language. It is organized by Nairuby.org, a community-driven group of developers who wish to promote the use of Ruby, the formation of an inclusive and supportive Ruby community, the Involvement of startups and corporates, and the education of Ruby developers.
Ruby Conference Kenya 2020 will take place at iHub, Nairobi, Kenya on July 23th through July 25th, 2020. We will be accepting talk proposals from August 20, 2020, through April 15th, 2020. Due to the competitive nature of the selection process, we encourage you to submit your proposal as early as possible. RubyConfKe 2020 is a single-track conference with two days of talks and workshops. This means that the number of proposals we can accept is limited to the number of talks and workshops we can comfortably fit in three days. Don’t be disappointed if your proposal isn’t accepted!
