After careful consideration, we have decided to postpone AI UK scheduled for 24 – 25 March. Given public health concerns about the coronavirus we trust that you will understand we wish to prioritise the health and safety of the Turing community and our wider network. A tremendous amount of hard work and creativity has gone into planning for this event and The AI UK committee will now be exploring a number of options. We know that our 600 delegates, our sponsors, speakers and demonstrators were really looking forward to the event. We are hopeful that we can deliver our first, national showcase in the future, once the public health situation stabilises.
Confirmed registrations will be valid for the new date of AI UK, once this is confirmed. However if anyone wishes to be re-funded, we will do so. Please contact [email protected]"
The Alan Turing Institute continues to pursue its ambitious goals: by advancing world-class research in data science and artificial intelligence (AI), training and inspiring the leaders of the future, and shaping the public conversation.
For the first time a dynamic, two-day event will see the Turing bring together all three of these goals in an unrivalled showcase featuring the very best of UK academic work in AI and machine learning (ML).
AI UK will convene leading thinkers, innovative businesses and specialist third-sector bodies, to:
- Connect UK academics working in AI and ML with research users from across industry, commerce and government
- Facilitate new AI collaborations
- Showcase the UK’s state-of-the-art AI and ML
